Career experience over 45 years in the Leather industry. Has education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and PhD in Leather Technology by the University of Cincinnati. Was lecturer in Leather Schools in Brazil.

Held positions of Technical Director on the following tanneries: Prime Tanning Rochester USA, Changshu Maydiang Leather, China and Pfister and Vogel, Milwaukee, USA.

Has made extensive work around the world: making leather, providing technical support for tanners, problem solving, providing training courses, and presenting research. Participated in many leather conventions and seminars since 1983 and have visited most of the important global leather research centers.

Currently is the IULTCS Secretary and Past-President and member of the Management Board at Leather Naturally. Works at Buckman in Memphis, TN, USA on Global Innovation for Leather.
